Cafe Memento offers modern Australian vegetarian and vegan dishes with a European influence. Menu includes German stollen, sourdough rye toast, banana porridge, baked open range eggs, seasonal vegetable soup, warm Asian tofu salad, toastie, open lentil burger, Moroccan eggplant, pasta or risotto special, black forrest gateau, Russian caramel cake, freshly squeezed fruit juice, smoothie, milk shake, traditional lemonade, herbal infusion, coffee, tea, ginger beer, and more. Cakes and coffee are offered all day. Vegan and gluten-free dishes are marked in the menu. Everything is cooked on the premises. Ingredients are chosen carefully with an emphasis on natural and wholesome produce. All sweet treats are baked using open range eggs, raw sugar, and organic wholewheat flour. Everything is free from MSG and flavour enhancers. No stock cubes or powders are used. Reservations are accepted on weekdays only. Outdoor seats are available. Friendly dogs on a lead are welcome. Water bowls are provided in the courtyard. Only cash is accepted. Cafe Memento is closed on public holidays and every first Monday of the month. Part of Cafe Memento's profit goes to Greenpeace Australia, Amnesty International Australia, Australian Wilderness Society, Blue Mountains Conservation Society and PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
