Description
The Cigköftem in Aschaffenburg is located right next to the main train station. It offers vegan rolls and burgers.
Çiğköfte is a famous Turkish snack and a specialty of southeastern Turkey, especially Adiyaman and Şanlıurfa. Although the traditional çiğköfte recipe requires minced -raw- meat, the current version must be meatless by law due to hygienic necessities. Therefore, çiğköfte is, unless home-made, vegan in Turkey since a decade. Meat is replaced by ground walnut.

I do love Çiğ köfte and so it's very nice to have the option to buy them in Aschaffenburg.
Unfortunately I don't find the taste extremely satisfying - It's good for fast food once in a while, but it's just not the real deal!
The prices, interior and atmosphere are very adequate, the service is very good.

Finally there is a Cigköfte-Store in Aschaffenburg!
As i am a big Cigköfte fan i grab a wrap pretty much every time i pass there (3-4 times per week).
They offer spicy and very spicy wraps for EUR 3,- each.
The staff is awesome plus the restaurant and restrooms are always clean.
Five stars from me!
