Food for Friends is part of a newer breed of vegetarian restaurants, less cafe style and more sophisticated serving lighter meals with inspiring flavor fusions. The restaurant offers a main menu for both lunch and dinner, and a daily specials menu which is available between 12:00 and 17:00. Dishes served reflect a love of Middle Eastern, North African and Mediterranean food which is by nature, primarily vegetarian and easy to adapt to vegan and gluten-free cooking. The restaurant also caters for people with special dietary needs, and have vegan and gluten-free options for many dishes in the menu. Freshly baked vegan and gluten-free breads, cakes and scones are also available. Only the freshest, finest and locally sourced seasonal ingredients are used in food preparation. Reservations are accepted. Outdoor seats are available. Catering service is also offered. The restaurant was established in 1981.
