Best Mexican outside of Mexico (or so I hear from people who have actually been to Mexico). An authentic, delicious taste with a good range of dishes to choose from. There's a vegan version of everything (except one dessert) and the prices are fair. There are many vegan and vegetarian places to choose from in Fitzroy, but I can't seem to walk past Trippy Taco without going in for one of their mixed vegan burritos and some Trippy fries. The staff are fast, friendly and more than happy to chat in those rare quite hours before the first lunch rush. Only negative is how small it is! You have to get there early or be prepared to wait to get some of this amazing food. There is covered outdoor seating for about 20 people. If you like your Mexican food hot, give the house sauce a try (it's free). If you like your mouth to be set on fire (which I very much do), go up the line until you get to the habanero hot sauce. Not for the faint of heart!

Take your friends. This place is best enjoyed with as many people as you can fit in :)
