Blossoming Lotus is a restaurant run by Thai Buddhists and serves Thai-style vegan food such as crispy faux duck salad, faux seafood curry and faux pork spare ribs. Being completely vegan, the food offered lacks the salty pungency of fish sauce, so characteristic of Thai cuisine. Dishes tend to be sweet and herbaceous, with a reasonable chilli kick where needed. Dairy milk and milk ice cream are served upon request. The front of the restaurant also houses a bain marie with a decent selection of takeaway dishes.
