Genesis in the Hills is a vegetarian restaurant and cafe that offers a menu consisting of vegetable ratatui, chef’s special stuffed tomatoes, quinoa salad, house platter, bread, cakes, fruit juices, coffee, and more. Many of the dishes offered are also available in wheat-free, dairy-free or vegan. Menu changes on a daily basis depending on what ingredients are fresh and in season; but there’s always a selection of hearty hot dishes, fresh salads, and the comforting delight of soup. Bread offered is full grain bread, with delicious natural extras like nuts, herbs and seeds. Wheat-free bread is also offered. The scrumptious boutique cakes are freshly baked every morning at the premises, with some options to cater for gluten and/or dairy sensitive customers. All fruit juices – like apple, pear and carrot – are freshly squeezed with nothing added. Coffee is fair trade certified. Majority of the herbs and spices, and some of the vegetables, are picked fresh from the restaurant's own organic garden. Outdoor seats are available. Genesis in the Hills also features Western Australian artists in monthly exhibitions, and holds monthly live jazz sessions with some of Western Australia's best jazz talents.
