The Forest, also referred to as Forest Cafe, is a volunteer-run, collectively owned vegetarian cafe, and free arts and events space. The cafe offers a menu consisting of soup, wraps, curry or chilli with rice, vegan sausage sandwiches, Vietnamese spring rolls, falafel burger, chips and salsa, pita and hummus, burrito, nachos, salad plate, cakes, fruit juice, hot chocolate, coffee, tea, and more. Vegan and vegan options are marked in the menu. Events hosted include music, theatre, dancing, yoga, massage, poetry recitals, art displays, knit-ins, book tours, language teaching, monsterbike making, and more.
