Veggie Planet is a vegetarian restaurant pizzeria that specializes in creative, out-of-this-world, meat-free and dairy-free pizzas. Also offered are satisfying meals on rice, enticing homemade soups, salads, vegan desserts, beer and wine. Pizza dough used is completely organic and is made by Haley House Bakery Cafe, a non-profit fostering economic independence for underemployed men and women in the Dudley Square, Roxbury community. In the evenings, the main dining room transforms into Club Passim, the renowned folk music club that celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2008. Food remains available throughout the show, both to show goers in the main room and to non-show customers in the front seating area. Sunday brunch is served from 11:00 to 15:00. Takeaway is available.
